The brief history of Baze University, its notable alumni, its authority structure, type of decision-making process, its mission, staff performance, type of library model, library mission, and goals are mentioned. Also stated in this work is the advantages and disadvantages of the Blake and Mouton Managerial Grid, after which the limitations are also mentioned. I will explore how the leadership style is determined by the leader’s concern for production and concern for people. These leadership styles are as follows: - Country Club, Produce or perish, Impoverished, Team leadership, and Middle-of-the-road leadership style. The Blake and Mouton Leadership Grid identifies five leadership styles on the managerial grid. Also, the two behavioral dimensions are included, which are the concern for people and the concern for tasks. The essence of the managerial grid is given. A background history including the educational background of both Robert Blake and Jane Mouton is given, how they met, and their work background before they left their work to continue on the work they started together on the managerial grid. The importance of concern for people-orientation is explained.
